Hope

Hope is a belief in a positive outcome related to events and circumstances in one's life. Hope is the feeling that what is wanted can be had or that events will turn out for the best.

~ Never talk defeat. Use words like hope, belief, faith, victory. ~
Norman Vincent Peale

Once you choose hope, anything's possible. ~Christopher Reeve

When the world says, "Give up,"
Hope whispers, "Try it one more time."

Historic goal, WHAT??

Well when all of us should be happy on Christmas Eve, Our loyal Government (NOT) is about to make a BAD decision/vote.

I pray that god will lead their hearts in the right direction.

I just heard this is the 1st christmas eve vote in 114 years, Wow Mr. obama you are trying your hardest to make HISTORY. Clearly he is doing so well.

I encourage all to look towards the future, not today but when the democrats mess this up then the republicans and others will get back our government.

I wish everyone a cheerful christmas eve.

Historic goal, WHAT??

miracles come in all sizes.

There are two ways to live your life.
One is as though nothing is a miracle.
THE OTHER IS THOUGH EVERYTHING IS A MIRACLE.
*Albert Einstein

I know this is a short post, but enough for today.

God bless you All.

HAVANA (AP) - Cuba's foreign minister called President Barack Obama an "imperial and arrogant" liar Monday for his conduct at the U.N. climate conference, a reflection of the communist island's increasingly fiery verbal attacks on the U.S. government.
Bruno Rodriguez spent an hour and a half lambasting Obama's behavior in Copenhagen, telling a news conference, "at this summit, there was only imperial, arrogant Obama, who does not listen, who imposes his positions and even threatens developing countries."
He called the summit "a fallacy, a farce" and said Washington used back-room deals and strong-arm tactics to foist on the world a deal that he labeled "undemocratic" and "suicidal" because it urges - but does not require - major polluters to make deeper emissions cuts.
Rodriguez also said Cuba and other poor nations have refused to recognize the agreement because they weren't permitted to participate in its development.

Healthcare:

Only one requires the difficult tally of 60 senators, and the outcome of that vote _ to overcome GOP opposition to the sweeping legislation _ is preordained. Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev., has herded 58 Democrats and two independents into line through a combination of wheedling, cajoling and dispensing special deals. The strategy has Republicans irate.

"That's not change you can believe in. That's sleazy," Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., told NBC's "Today" show Tuesday, just before the voting began.

Reid makes no apologies.

"I don't know if there's a senator that doesn't have something in this bill that was important to them, and if they don't have something in it important to them, then it doesn't speak well of them," Reid said Monday.

Graham cited the example of $100 million in the legislation to pay the full cost of a Medicaid expansion in Nebraska _ home to Democratic Sen. Ben Nelson, the crucial 60th vote for the bill. Another concession, sought by Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Fla., exempts roughly 800,000 seniors in Florida from potential benefit cuts by private Medicare Advantage plans.

My thoughts:

Wow, another country is calling the leader of our country a Liar, I ask myself how I feel about this?
I feel disgusted, because I think they see the real man behind all of the glitter & glamour.
I was also wondering if our government could show us anymore disrespect, with the whole Nebraska(sweet deal) I got it just tell us you don't CARE what The PEOPLE of the United States think or want, and you would be speaking the TRUTH .
God bless everyone, I wish you all a Very Merry Christmas.

On a personal note: I am trying to say Merry Christmas to all the people I come in contact with, not happy holidays.

Big Thanks

Most post that I put on here are not personal.
But this one is.
Many years ago, My guy introduce us( his family) to a great group of people.
They introduces us to so many things we had been missing.
Yesterday, I sat up thinking of all the things I and my family have been blessed with.
There were a handful or so that just kept popping up.
having God and my family all together(BBNMA)
having shelter,food,income,health,love
having my Brothers on this earth
having met the" S " Family
Having found Homeschooling

So the S family made such a impact on us, that after meeting them we become interested in
Homeschooling. Although, we had never thought of the idea before, the warmth, joy, respect, intellect, overwhelming love
they all had was inspiring.
One thing they reminded me of was that God exists, which I had lost that, not so much that I did not believe somewhat.
But enough that I was not praying to him, or thanking him, or even making him number one.

Now, I find myself giving thanks everyday, to God. Sometimes twice or more.
The S family still shows me things daily, weekly. We are so blessed to have them as friends whom really are family to Us.

Mrs. L , if you are reading this I will never be able to repay you and your family for the impact you have made in our life, faith.
We choose God and are always blessed with him in our life.

Big Thanks S family..

Remember, 12/7/1941

Regardless of your age, or your interest in World War II, a visit to Pearl Harbor Hawaii is an extremely emotional experience. There are many war memorials across America, but there's something truly different here. At 7:55 on the sunny morning of Sunday, December 7, 1941, 183 Japanese warplanes swooped out of a cloudless sky and demolished the US Pacific fleet docked at Pearl Harbor. It was this single catastrophic event, not the invasion of Poland, the Battle of Britain or the persecution of the Jews, that finally dragged the United States into World War II.
