One more kick in the side!

The US Senate voted yesterday to confirm Sonia Sotomayor as a Supreme Court Justice. Sadly, there’s a solid body of evidence demonstrating we can expect her to be an additional pro-abortion vote on our nation’s highest court.
It also saddens me that some of our “pro-life” senators voted for her confirmation. The biggest disappointment was Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina. During her confirmation hearing, Senator Graham displayed solid leadership in questioning Judge Sotomayor. But in the end he voted for her confirmation.
If Judge Sotomayor had been a member of the KKK or accused of cruelty to animals, it would have undoubtedly been a disqualifying issue for a majority of the Senators. So why isn’t it a disqualifying issue if a prospective justice supports the continued daily killing of innocent unborn children—by the thousands? That should be the ultimate disqualifying issue! It certainly should have been for our “pro-life” senators.
I believe they owe you and all pro-life Americans an explanation for their vote. I encourage you to contact each of them and politely but firmly ask why they voted to confirm a judge who is expected to allow the killing to continue unabated. The blood of over 3,000 babies that die in America’s abortion chambers each day deserves to be a higher priority. And it seems to me that this blood will now be on their hands.
Please contact these senators:

Senator George Voinovich (R) Ohio
Senator Chris Bond (R) Missouri
Senator Judd Gregg (R) New Hampshire
Senator Mel Martinez (R) Florida (just announced his resignation today)
Senator Richard Lugar (R) Indiana
Senator Lindsey Graham (R) South Carolina
Senator Lamar Alexander (R) Tennessee.

Don’t let a political response to your question end the discussion. Politely remind these Senators and/or their staff that the blood of innocent unborn babies trumps all politics on Capitol Hill.
Sincerely for the babies,

THIS WAS EMAILED TO ME FROM LIFE ISSUES.. I WANTED YOU ALL TO READ. SO NOT MY WORDS, BUT IMPORTANT
